Online courses are an effective way for sharing information, learning and training. However, online course development is not easy. This bootcamp offers you the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and the skills to develop an online course in 4 days. You will learn about the design, the creation and the implementation.
The bootcamp supplies you with the needed expertise to get "your course" done under the guidance of experts from the field, being professionals in online education who have already guided more than 100 people through the process of designing, creating and building an online course.
At the end you will have the course design, the content of your course implemented online, and, more importantly, the skills and tools for further development.

A good design makes everything easier. That’s why we start with the course design in order to define learning activities and identify what needs to be created for your online course. On day 1 we’ll work with you on the constructive alignment of your course, making sure that the learning objectives, learning activities and assessment are suitable for an online context and most importantly aligned to design a meaningful learning experience.

It’s time to start creating all the elements of your course. On day 2 we focus on the production phase, working with you on the creation of the smaller pieces (the building blocks) that compose your course. This includes media production with easy-to-use tools, strategies and equipment to create a personal touch for your course using audiovisuals.

After creating the course content, it’s time to build it on the eLearning platform. In this regard, we offer you the possibility to use a free & user-friendly eLearning platform or the one you already use in your institution, if that's the case.
It's very important to build your course using a logical and consistent structure to make life easier for your students or trainees. On day 3 we’ll cover these aspects and support you in building a well-organized online course, ready to launch!

What is a bootcamp?
A bootcamp is, by definition, a short and intensive training. Our approach is also based on the idea of getting things done, with hands-on activities that lead to concrete outputs.
In what language will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered in English.
Are there any technical prerequisites?
No. All the tools we selected are user-friendly. You only need some working knowledge of the Web and Office type software.
Do you offer support for a wider online education strategy?
The focus of the bootcamp is designing and building your online course and not about the wider strategy for online courses/education for your institution/company. For inquiries about digital learning strategies and other consulting services feel free to contact us at info@ddlearning.net
What eLearning platform will I use to build my course?
The bootcamp will provide you with the skills to develop an online course on basically any platform, regardless of the experience you have. If you're completely new to these tools we will support you in setting up and building your online course on Thinkific or MoodleCloud. On the other hand, if you already work with a specific eLearning platform provided by your institution, like for example Moodle, Open edX, Canvas, Brightspace, or other, we will support you in building your course on the system you already use.
As you'll experience during the bootcamp, we will work with you on the design and production of the building block of your course (assignments, video, texts, quizzes, etc.), enabling you to assemble your course on practically any platform.
